The success of the community engagement phase contributed to a successful bid for further funding which saw chosen artist, ceramicist Adele Howitt create and deliver a new public art trail – Potter About Hornsea, which launched in Autumn 2017. In addition, the community engagement had another successful outcome – the opening of a new Pottery studio at Hornsea School & Language College!
“I have to say we have had some fantastic feedback so far and I was over the moon when we sold out of the tickets by Thursday morning. We had to turn quite a few people away for Halloween itself – but a good problem to have!”
